LWI Partners with the Health Advocate Club at Bells University of Technology, Ota

The Health Advocate Club, one of the major students association of Bells University of Technology campus in Ota ran its awareness programme on the 22nd of May 2013 in conjunction with LiveWell Initiative LWI.

The theme of the day was “Living Well Today for the Future”. Presentations by LWI officers were on the effects of drugs and substance abuse by Pharm Solomon Idowu, LWI Regional Manager North and the implications of unwholesome diets and unhealthy lifestyles by Ms. Nnedimma Obi, LWI Senior Programme Officer.

LWI carried out basic health screenings, personalised counselling and dispensed non-prescription medicines to the Health Advocate club members, Bells university students and their staffers.

The overall living well awareness programme was successful.
