unique, innovative and relevant; as they are
all related to the Millenium Development
Goals (MDG’s) and to other Global Healthcare

Financial Plan
This is a strategic plan broken down into
implementation blocks on a half-yearly
basis; and implemented in line with due
process and governance. There shall be tax
exemption and funding shall be sourced from
direct and indirect sources; local and
international.
Fund raising Activities
Among the planned activities are;
Fundraising: to raise funds from national
and international NGO’s; as well as
corporate organizations; Collaboration with
government and with other NGO’s and
International Bodies; e.g. Pharmabridge, FIP,
DFID, IHS(International Health Summit),
Production of Patient Information Leaflets (LWI-PIL)
and Self-Care Educational Series; are
activities intended to strengthen
sustainability - through international
collaboration, training initiatives, and
Drug Information Centre (DIC) and a Resource
Web-café.
Training Policy
Training of volunteers will take place
initially once and thereafter twice a year.
They will, after undergoing a
‘train-the-trainer’ program; be sent into
the rural communities under the aegis of the
Initiative; to ensure a better outreach.
