Health literacy is very low in Nigerian Society. The problem is more compelling when visualized from the fact that health-illiteracy in this society has no direct relationship to educational attainment or socio-demographic status. The painful consequences of the low health-literacy include, diminished life expectancy, avoidable deaths, and increased morbidity and mortality.

LiveWell Initiative is a Not-for-profit community-based NGO with a national orientation. Our organizational culture is that of accountability, transparency, and ethics. LWI seeks to carve out a ‘niche’ for itself in the area of improving health-literacy; a need which has erstwhile been abandoned to posterity.
To improve the health status of the people through wellness promotion and health-empowerment and thereby positively influence their health-seeking behavior.
To halve health-illiteracy in Nigeria by the year 2030; and to increase the life expectancy of Nigerians to 70 by the year 2030.
"By donating to LWI, you are empowering somebody somewhere, to live a healthier and longer life. You are helping to prevent avoidable deaths...You are, indeed, making the world a better place"
