LWI Health Fair at Broadway Int’l Schools

Broadway International Schools ran a 3-day programme for their last education week with LiveWell Initiative LWI participating in Day 2 “Health Day”.

The theme of the Health day was “Improving Health Literacy in our Environment”, took place on Wednesday, June 26th 2013 at Surulere, Lagos. The programme commenced with a welcome speech by the proprietress Princess G. N. Umeh. Following a health introduction by Mr. Danjerry Umeh.

LWI academy officer, Pharm. (Mrs) Nneka Isiadinso delivered a motivation workshop on nutrition and wellness. Latter, a handwashing technique engaged both pupils and teachers. A unique lecture on unhealthy lifestyles and common diseases was given by LWI senior programme officer, Ms. Nnedimma Obi that was very interactive.

After the health session, LWI ran it’s free health package that includes basic health tests, health counselling and dispensing non-prescription medications to broadway Int’l schools pupils and teachers including the public.

LWI delivered a very successful and impactful health fair.
