LWI Academy Launches AWMC Mentoring Chair during FIP Pharmabridge Congress at Dusseldorf October 1st 2015

Pharmabridge Initiative, a project from the stables of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) was founded in 1999 with the aim  to fostering communication and exchange of  information, resources, and experiences between pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, and pharmacy educators from all corners of the globe, leading to better pharmacy services, improved patient care and enhanced community health.

The LWI Academy recently launched the the Agathe Wehrli Mentoring Chair (AWMC) during this year’s FIP Pharmabridge Congress at Dusseldorf Germany on the 1st of October 2015.

The AWMC named after LWI’s second vice chairman and Swiss Director Dr Agathe Werhli in partnership with Pharmabridge is aimed at mentoring young pharmacists and facilitating; student exchange programmes  book donations, cross-postings of pharmacists across the African subregion and developing/emerging economies, rotations for diaspora pharmacists both within West Africa, Africa, Europe, Asia, the Americas, and the world at large.
