LiveWell Initiative LWI Duke of Edinbrugh International Award Project Orientation 7th March 2015

The Duke of Edinburgh International Award was started in 1956 by the Duke of Edinburgh United Kingdom,Prince Phillip to equip young people (ages 14-24) for life and work by encouraging to actively participate in physical activities, vocational skills, sports and community service.

Livewell Initiative LWI a sub-contractor for the award in collaboration with Chrysalis Foundation Nigeria  carried out an orientation programme for the participants at its Gbagada office on the 7th March 2014.

The programe started with a lecture on the  introduction on what the  award is all about and it was delivered by Dr Bukola Adewakun a D of E Award trainer and a member of the LWI Academy faculty.

The students were then taught how to use the Online-record-book to record their activities which are categorized into physical activities, sports, vocational skill and community service.
